On their website, they stated, “BBB has received a pattern of consumer complaints alleging failure to issue prizes to consumers upon completing their seminar, failure to issue a refund, failure to return phone calls and emails to consumers and overall poor customer service. On December 11, 2017, BBB sent a letter with its concerns. The company did not respond.” They have additionally not received any reviews from Trustpilot, a reputable site rating businesses. Some testimonials from past clients from BBB and Google are as follows:
“A warning to anyone that get a call to attend a dinner/seminar with the promise of helping you get out of your timeshare… don’t do it, don’t talk to them, don’t attend the dinner!!” – Kathy C.
“Can’t even give them one star. They took over $12,000 from us and have done nothing” – Joe S.
“My husband & I signed up with UDI July 2017 and was promised we would not have to pay any more maintenance fees & that WAS A LIE we are still paying our maintenance fees & they still have not got us out of our contract.. we paid them 13K” – Tina L.
For every positive comment about the company that we saw, we saw far more negative. We saw some responses to the negative comments on BBB from ODI Consulting and they were very combative in nature. One comment actually criticized and mocked a client after they issued a complaint.
ODI Consultants was started in 2016 and is located in Springfield, Missouri. They claim to help clients get out of their current timeshare agreements. Their website domain has been taken over by a past unsatisfied client where there are some choice words about how this company is a scam (see link below). The only way to contact the company is through their phone number which can be found through Google. We do not know what sort of process they have for how they conduct business. We also do not know how much fees will be but we can assume they greatly vary and will likely not get you out of your timeshare agreement.
Do not use ODI Consultants to help you exit your timeshare. Upon research, we can speculate they are a scam. We suggest that before you even consider this company, you seek out other help to exit your current timeshare.
